Diving depths of up to 40 meters (130 ft) can be programmed to suit individual requirements via the on-board electronics. A safety cut-off feature reliably ensures that the selected diving depth is not exceeded (factory depth 2,5 m or 9 ft).

Le SEABOB F5 séduit par son poids extrêmement réduit. Avec un poids total de 29 kg seulement, il offre une force propulsive dans l'eau de 480 newtons.

L'E-Jet Power System monté dans le SEABOB F5 offre 4 paliers de puissance. Cet échelonnement lui confère un caractère sportif et garantit un plaisir de conduite optimal. Sa dynamique particulière dans l'eau résulte de la combinaison entre une puissance de déplacement élevée et un faible poids par unité de puissance. La forme hydrodynamique du SEABOB F5 lui procure dans l'eau une agilité insoupçonnée. Le pilotage et la plongée s'effectuent par simple transfert du poids de corps du pilote.

Ce véhicule nautique pouvant être piloté sans permis, est très respectueux de l'environnement grâce à son système de propulsion électrique, sans émissions polluantes pour le milieu naturel.

L'électronique de bord permet de programmer individuellement une profondeur de plongée allant jusqu'à 40 mètres. Un dispositif d'arrêt de sécurité très fiable empêche de dépasser la profondeur de plongée sélectionnée (profondeur par défaut 2,5m).
